Halloween success!

Okay so I know I was a bit hesitant about Halloween, but I think today went really well. Kids loved it - and spent much needed quality time with other parents friends with bubbas which was lovely! 

Rarely do we get the chance to socialise in the evening with friends and babies, I think socially it is generally frowned upon to be in a pub with a baby in the evening. Thankfully because of the Halloween kids party this wasn't the case and was lovely to have a change of scenery! 

Would I celebrate it again? Yes I would maybe I will even carve a pumpkin... But in my heart I am a Christmas fairy so that will always be my biggest holiday!

Halloween yay or nay?

I have never been a lover of Halloween, yes I like the random Halloween episodes of sitcoms and when I was younger the Simpsons (okay maybe I could still watch it....;) but Halloween has always been a bit scary for me! I don't know why, I remember going to parties and trick or treating but as I have got older and it was more about dressing up to go to a club I hated those costumes with the scream masks, always expected them to pull a giant knife out like the film! 

So now that I am a grown up and a mummy should I get more into this Halloween malarky? I never really agreed with celebrating it but should I break with that for the sake of the little ones fun?? Well we are going to a kids Halloween party tomorrow evening and I have purchased the girls costumes, so we shall see. I have seen many photos on my FB of kids pumpkin picking and carving maybe just maybe if tomorrow goes well I may extend to that next year.  Let's see 😉
