I did have a life before children but that seems like another lifetime now, my friends who have known me years and have yet to settle down and have children seem to be on a different wavelength nowadays. They are busy dating, working and lots of trips away while I am busy looking after two little ones and my husband the big kid. I hardly get a time to see them anymore as evenings and nights out seem impossible now and that is when they are mostly free. On the other hand I have new mummy friends who I have got time to see during the day with little ones who completely understand how our life's have changed. I feel guilty for not seeing my old friends as much as I used to but have come to realise that my life is different now, I love my friends dearly and although I can't see them as much anymore they will always be part of my life but my girls are just the biggest part of my life right now.
And that sums up my life right now. I am a mum and that will always come first, life changes, priorities change but being a mum never changes x
